Duke nukem forever "missing basegame" WHAT

Hello I seem to have issue with steamgifts and duke nukem forever as it does not seem to recognisethat I have a copy of the game. I brought it on 10 and a day has past by and I still doesn't seem to recognise it. Anything I can do?
