I would not mind an EA/Origin bundle if it contained Dragon Age: Inquisition, Syndicate (this one is old enough to be bundled without a second though), possibly Battlefield 4, and Sim City and some classics like Nox, an older Need for Speed title and so on. Those are not all games that I really want, but they would be fitting bundle material

I would just have a hard time thinking that they wouldn't have a Steam bundle up at all since the other ongoing one is Nintendo and I could just guess that many of their customers are strict Steam users. :]

I get your point, though it only helps making me think it would be a good thing to have another bundle. Not because it would generate the most sales, but because it would help generate sales for other platforms. The PC-gaming marketing is suffering from a company having such a market dominance, and anything that helps drive users to other platforms is a good thing (but it will probably be a steam bundle, and it's likely to contain good games because Humble very rarely release bad bundles).

I meant the recent one. They gave away the original on Origin a while ago. From what I've gathered, recent(ish) Syndicate is a good game, as long as you don't think of it as a Syndicate game, but view it as an entirely separate game (much like Ultima 9 (patched) is not a bad game, but it's a terrible sequel).

Well, that won't happen, because of Origin's subscription play now. They won't bundle Inquisition, because you get it with a $5/mo subscription to them.
You can say goodbye to future EA/Origin bundles due to this.

The main reason for them to have an Origin bundle would not be to sell games, but rather to get more people to Origin, so that they can sell games/subscription services there. Heck, one thing they could do to entice more people to join is to give you a month with the bundle, in order to show you how good their service is (if they think their service is that good).

That's what I'm saying, the system they made says otherwise. It gos like this, one bundle lasts for 14 days, once it reaches 7 days, another one appears that last for 14 days, one this last one reaches 7 days another one appears for 14 days, this third one wil not make a new one appear after 7 days, it will rather make a new one appear when it ends definitely after 14 whole days. Devolver is the second bundle since the new system, Friends of Nintendo is third, therefore we have to wait for Nintendo Friends to end definitely before the new set starts. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think they might fear that it's the other way around. Fans of the Borderlands games get all excited to play battleborn, but then comes the HB with the pre-sequel (which they might not have) or another copy of BL2 (to give to their friends) and then they rather start another playthrough or play Pre-Sequel instead of paying Full-Price for Battleborn.
Those games have a lot of "playtime-value", so maybe it takes a month or two, that those people will consider buying battleborn again :>

The Daedalic adventure bundle is currently on sale on steam. I have most of their games too, although I don't like all of them. But I got them to show some support seeing as they use the game engine I kind of work for, for developing most of their point & click games on, which include the Deponia series. ;)
