Under the old site, user reports weren't actually seen by the support staff. Only cg could access them. They've been moved to the active support forum with the new site. Unless you feel those reports are critical you should probably close them like many did with such old reports.

Yep, 40,000 user reports were dumped into our queue during the transition to the new site. It'll be quite some time before they're addressed.

Is there any news whatsoever regarding the recruitment of new mods?
Before SGv2 went live there was talk of the new site making it easier to recruit new mods yet ever since the switch it has been awfully quiet on the subject despite topics like this one popping up almost on a daily base.

  • Lina is working on a list of guidelines for support, to help improve consistency, and to help bring new support members up to speed. Once finished, we'll be looking into adding more users to help with tickets.

I believe those guidelines are complete.

Sweeeet, thanks for linking me I never considered CG might be updating that thread instead I was keeping an eye out for new threads guess I should have realized that sooner.
Glad to see that it's all in motion, I was a bit afraid that due to the huge ticketload the 3 current mods would burn out in the near future since it's impossible to properly mod a site that has grown so much throughout the years without additional help and the fact that people are complaining more and more doesn't really motivate you guys to stick around I'd imagine, hell i'd probably avoid logging in if I was in your position due to all the pressure so you can imagine how much I appreciate your hard work.

+1, please close them and help lower the amount of tickets, especially since they are over a year old already.

If it makes you feel better, it took me 1.5 years to get a ticket resolved, and it was finally resolved about a week ago. They will get to it eventually, just wait and see.

For first ticket got respond in 10 min, for second 2h. Maybe they missed it who knows how many ticket they have...
