Another user presented this page https://steamdb.info/upcoming/free/ as the source of future games that will be free in the future. I did not see this game in that list. He told users not to post such ads here. Looks like he was wrong ...

I didn't know about this link, but currently I can see Injustice: Gods Among Us at the very bottom of the page.
Maybe It was added recently...

No no, I didn't mean any reproach or critic for this thread, I just believed that maybe SMUCKEY didn't see the deal because it was at the end of the page. And it was the first time I tried this link (https://steamdb.info/upcoming/free/ )
Actually, I really appreciate the people which make threads with free deals on SG. There could be many time the same report I wouldn't complain either. (So TY ^^)

But by the way, in this case, I already had the game. I was just curious to see if someone could explain why the game is free. There is often a reason like promotional purpose (for a sequel). But here, it's free because... nothing Oo

yeah, i understood you didn't mean to critic and we're having just a nice ol' conversation ^^, about the game being free, it's possible that it's because the game is quite old, or because of the second corona wave which gaming companies encourage people to stay home and game instead (hence giving it away).

all in all, i'm glad they did =p (had it wishlisted and didn't own it yet), i believe this is one of the best games i've gotten by a GA, like furi and such.

Now that you say it, it's quite possible it's the reason (or something like 'racial injustice'). But in this case they should have made an announcement at least...
I agree it's a great offer, that's why it's weird they didn't exploit it even just a bit.
(the best free game I got was Portal <3)

It's because Steam no longer allows anyone to access or view private depots/packages without a token allowing them too so that's the main reason why SteamDB didn't have it in their upcoming free section.

One of the reasons it got recently free without any kind of notice might be that AT&T (the company that owns Warner Bros Games) is selling (or at least they are looking to sell) WB Games

It's because of the "Red Son" themed character skins. WB thinks the red star is banned in the former eastern block countries.

also you do realize that you paid for the fact that you HAD the game for 6 years now, while others couldn't play it, 6 years is enough time for people to lose more than 30% of their car's value, but w/e, welcome to my blacklist.
