Hi all! I am starting a private group for those of us that have less then great computers, and there for can't run a lot of the big titles gifted here. We will be gifting a lot of the lower req games that we all know and love.:) If you are one of these people feel free to message me and join up!

Edit: Make sure to check your steam, as that is were we will talk about your invite!

Edit: Okay, sorry everyone, I tried to get to you all, but my computer is being mean. I think I got most of you, but if you didn't hear anything from me it's not because we don't want you here, it's that I keep losing track of who I sent invites to. If I missed you just add me on steam and sent me a message!

There is an absolute pile of truly great classic games that can match or exceed anything that's coming out now, unfortunately Steam's selection of classic games is tiny. Not much that isn't pretty recent.

I stick to emulators for them. Emulators have considerably more options and functionality, to improve visual quality, add save states, cheats if you wish etc.

Disappointed how limited Steam's delivery of them is.

I in no way have an old computer but I do sometimes game on an old laptop. I also love the older games, the majority of modern ones seem to lack the depth.

I've got a few games that require lower game specs (a lot of the indie games in particular). May I join to create private giveaways for you guys? I already have most of the Steam library so you don't have to worry about me leeching.

It is old. With the new IBM that is a vacuum cleaner!

PS: The OP didn't do the topic right because according to him I have an old computer. It's just 5 or 6 years old with a dual CPU, HD4650 ATi, 4 GB DDR2 ram and a 1 TB HDD.
I think he meant the ancient computer which are slower that the regular smart phones these days.

I don't believe they have made an athlon that runs below 2Ghz for years except for maybe a mobile version. And even in that case if it was a lappy that cpu would still be as old as his vidoecard dinosaur.

C2D7400@2.8GHZ; 2GB RAM DDR2400MHZ; Geforce GTS250.

New games are starting to make this puppy scream, specially the CPU, which begs for an improvement (the thing that she doesnt understand, is that i cant just change her alone, her pants must be changed to (motherboard), and therefore, whats in its pockets aswell (RAM) )

I just dont understand her :(
