first bundle I skip, reading books in a non-native language is always hard

But it really improves your non-native language! :D

You pick it up after dozen or a few... Not too hard then.

I thought the same, but than i began reading an MLP fic (Fallout: Equestria) and there was no finished tranlation in my language. When i got to the middle of the book in a week or so, I knew, I should read it up to the end, so I began reading it in English. Was not that hard. I've read a couple other English books since then:)

I'm disappointed at the high average right now as I haven't read that Scalzi book yet and Gaiman is Gaiman but nearly $12 at the moment.

that's the point Gaiman is Gaiman that's the reason of the high average :S

Have you actually read a Gaiman novel? they really aren't that good. People just talk them up because of his other works.

Have you read American Gods? It's amazing. I'm reading it for the second time. Fragile Things, one of his short story collections, has some gems too. I haven't read Stardust, but the movie is based on his novel, and the movie was fantastic. People actually like his books, no just his other works.

Have you read Anansi Boys? i've read at least 4 times, is my favorite of him... I've read Stardust before see the movie, and after the book the movie seemed horrible for me =P
I like all the Gailman's books i've read, even Coraline (a book for kids). The Doctor Who episode he writes is another example of how he is today.

Books are way more timeless than games. Since I don't read a new book every week there's always going to be enough great classics for me to check out. Don't really need to go with hip publications.

A humble book bundle makes pretty little sense to me.
+that perversion of the Lady with an Ermine really gives me the creeps.

Put $2 on it, not that I'd read them any time soon. Marked it as Linux just to bring that average down. :)

I must admit I don't read books. It's just not my thing. A book can receive every sort of praise and award from audiences and critics, and I still won't read it.
