I'm going to start us off with Zhu Li x Varrick from The Avatar: The Legend of Korra.
Yeah, their interactions had some awkward elements, but the pair begged to be shipped right from their introduction, and the cute moments kept being nice little surprises to look forward to. Given the occasionally awkward pacing, character development, and narrative transitions in The Legend of Korra, the comedic-yet-cute moments with Zhu Li and Varrick often served as passing breaths of fresh air which never overstayed their welcome (unlike the comedy attempts involving Bolin or Meelo, which too often just ended up being cringey).
While there are relationships I could offer here that have richer development or more of a sweetness/cuteness overload, Zhu Li and Varrick's relationship really stands out for how well it served as a refreshing subplot to TLoK's narrative.
Spoiler image for those who've already made their way through TLoK.

Best fictional couple? Well that's easy :D
Clarence and Alabama Worley from True Romance. (written by Quentin Tarantino; directed by Tony Scott)
I can't really explain why but everybody who has seen the movie knows they are the cutest couple ever.
Apparently at some point the creators intended to put True Romance and Natural Born Killers "into the same universe" and make True Romance the prelude to Natural Born Killers but I'm extremely glad they didn't because Clarence and Alabama are likeable and charming people in a bad situation while the protagonists from Natural Born Killers are just total psychos and not likeable at all.
Also Dennis Hopper was just the best.
Here's the accurate version how those two movies are / were supposed to be connected for the inevitable people who are gonna correct me that Natural Born Killers wasn't supposed to be a sequel.

And regarding your n°2 pick I have to bump up that movie on my To watch list.
I've always wondered if she actually looks like Elisabeth Shue :D
Six Seasons And A Movie!

I guess she does, just more youthful, but you might disagree, it's hard to tell from that clip :)
Oh and....beware! It's quite a heavy movie, and Sting will never sound the same again...
There's a few movies I've watched too many times (not more than 6 times, I ain't nuts...:P), Leaving Las Vegas, The Fountain, and...The Notebook. An eclectic mix at first sight, but they all share a theme. I guess you could add Brokeback Mountain to the mix too (only watched that twice).
Anyway, back to more positive thoughts. :)

Honestly, their relationship was a bit of a "yikes" from me. "Hey, wanna start dating the girl who's basically as much of a stepsister and stepmom as you can get? Nothing hotter than mature mother figures for a child who's mentally like 6 years older than you.". Aang might technically have been 12 and Kitara 14, but if Aang looks and acts like an 8-year old...
I get why people like it, but it encroaches on the whole anime trope of "6 year old girl, but 8000 year old demon" crap to me.

Tasuku Kurosaki and Teru Kurebayashi from Dengeki Daisy. It's a great manga. It's shoujo, and I'm a guy, but the pacing, the development, the awkward development, the amazing characters and story make a great read. The characters have gone to hell and back, and yet, there they are, fighting.

Scully and Mulder in the first 5 (?) seasons before they became official.

The first one that comes to mind is Lois and Clark, from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. That's the first show that I remember thinking "I really want them to get together."
EDIT to add Wash and Zoe from Firefly.

I must wonder did you leave books out intentionally because without seeing the protagonists too much is left to the readers imagination?

Early seasons of Jim and Pam in The Office. Though, they definitely also had some weird stuff going on, which would qualify as pretty terrible actions.
The way they presented it was cute, they had great chemistry too. But the underlying ideas that facilitated that whole thing were pretty scummy at best.

That was a bit confusing. Title asks me about fiction, then content says it needs to be from a film or TV show.
So I'm going to stick to fiction, and although I'm not sure that 'cute' is the right description, Aral Vorkosigan and Cordelia Naismith are possibly my favourite couple.

Definitely Offices Jim and Pam. Ive always seen it as a great depiction of actual human feelings and not just cliche love story. How life can give you lemons and you might not be able to do anything about it. And when they get past all the hardship and hard decisions their relationship becomes wholesome
I really liked Micheals and Fionas relationship in Burn Notice. How two almost dysfunctional society members find love in each other.
I suppose I kind a always liked love story of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts as well in Iron Man
Some great mentions that sit in my mind thanks to chemistry of characters - Rapunzle and Flynn in Tangled - regular but cute take on disney-type relationship, Roy and June in Knight and Day - nothing extraordinary but their relationship gives interesting flavor to the movie. And of course Mr and Mrs Smith - if you can call trying to kill each other and having sex after to make up a cute couple.

It's a positivity thread + a recommendation thread, all in one!
Possibly my most clever idea after "Cake all the time, every day".
I'm still.. still working on the fiancial demands and health issues on that one, actually..
Anyway! Pop in with your favorite pairing from any fictional work!
For the sake of keeping the thread focused, the pairing must be official and from a film or tv show (including any kind of animation).
By official, I just mean that "cute elements" must actually be visible within the work itself, not that the relationship must meet any kind of status threshold (such as the relationship being inherently romantic, or the pair officially dating or being married or whatnot).
Oh, and: If anyone introduces me a new relationship that I absolutely adore the development of, you'll get a cookie.
Or possibly a game or something, I dunno. Not sure why people'd turn down free sweets, but- what? No, you can't have any of my cake.
Get that thought right out of your head!
