Heya there how does one even begin to learn how to solve these type of puzzles in general? Just find it so intriguing how theres a basically a mini community here thats trained up on these sorts of things.

Dude I am so dumb, but thank you anyway. I got a tattoo when I was 15, and in Tunisia. It's dumb, but it's well hidden. The quality is fine, the design is what you would expect from a 15 year old. Never got around to getting it covered or adding to it.

Too complex for a giveaway, I have tried to find a relationship to the tattoo with Morse code and with the Fibonacci sequence and I am not able to make it clear what function each element has in the tattoo, I've been digging for a couple of hours and without clues it's a waste of time.
It is as if I study mechanical engineering and I ask people about a specific piece inside the engine, surely only those who have studied something related to the engine will be able to answer, the rest cannot, this is the same, is to reward someone who has specific knowledge.

If you don't understand how an engine works then I don't know what you studied xD anyway it was a manner of speaking, referring to making a draw for something so specific is too random, unless you have prior knowledge on this subject, it can take you hours to draw the pattern, what it's based on and then try to interpret it correctly, I don't think everyone knows this to figure it out.
I understand wanting to give complexity to the puzzle, but it would have been more accessible putting a puzzle of 100-300 pieces for example, that anyone with a little dexterity could do, even if you look for information, if you can't interpret the pattern, you'll just throw your time without knowing what you are looking for, and it will only give an advantage to those who have knowledge in a subject.

I had just basic electro lessons, hated them. Master degree I went to finish through heat transfer and liquid flow department (energy department), so I hope I won't see an engine for rest of life as department promised.

If you really don't like mechanical engineering that's another topic to deal with, I meant that this puzzle is as if I tattooed the sound spectrum of the engine from the Ferrari with which Schumacher won in 2004 and I put it here to see who guess.
Do you think someone with no prior knowledge of something this crazy is going to figure it out? Well here's what I mean, putting something that complicated up for a giveaway is just too random.

I think it's not that difficult, the problem is that if you don't have previous knowledge about a certain subject and you don't have clues of any kind, it's difficult to decipher it.

Sorry it hasn't been the best experience for you! There have definitely been some puzzles here in the past that I couldn't make head or tail of. This one is actually a lot more simple than it looks, I just drew it in an abstract style. I'll probably end up adding a hint or two as it gets closer to the end!

It is your giveaway and you decide to put the difficulty on it, but this tattoo is about a very specific topic and even knowing how a Fibonacci sequence works, I cannot find a relationship with your tattoo nor can I find the correct interpretation, really understanding that it is a sum of values, but not knowing what function the circles or lines have, it can hardly be interpreted and I feel that it is something quite simple if you have previous knowledge to understand it, but without them and without clues it is very difficult to understand.

I'm giving up, I tried it the other day for several hours trying to find a relationship with fibonacci and morse code and with the new clues nothing is clear either, I see it as too abstract and I don't plan on wasting much more time either in deciphering it, I prefer to make a puzzle of 200 pieces that at least I can know where to start, and you feel that you are spending time on something that you can solve with some effort, but this is wanting to try to interpret some signs without really having an idea of the context or where to start looking for meaning is to end to trash your time.
This is literally trying to figure out how someone else's mind thinks and trying to figure out something abstract, I don't think it's worth wasting so much time for a game entry, thanks anyway.

i think it's not that hard, the GA turns out got nearly 200 entries already, that is the most entries in a puzzle i've ever seen. We just don't know where to start and find a solution for it, this puzzle keep hovering in my head for the past few days. I guess it's time to give up and move on

It will not be difficult, but without a context or without knowing what you are looking for, it is literally wasting your time and I already dedicated a few hours to it the other day and I felt stupid because it is trying to find information in something that you do not know how to interpret. It is as if I try you put on an Egyptian hieroglyph and you, without any knowledge in this matter, try to decipher it, you would go crazy trying to make sense of a simple painting, because this is the same thing.

There are several people stating that if it is related to fibonacci, it is a sequence of numbers between 0 and 1, but the tattoo is so abstract that I don't make sense of it and I don't even know how to interpret it or what to tell, the truth is that I don't intend to waste much more time than I I dedicated it, at least I learned how to use fibonacci 🤣

Can you even have a fibonacci sequence if its only from 0-1?

Each term of the sequence after the first two is the sum of the previous two terms, for example 0,1,1,2,3....but he said "Look at one or zero according to your needs,But two or more might put you in the weeds."
if they are only 0 and 1 it wouldn't make sense or I can't find it, that's why I gave up trying to make sense of it, because I don't see it xD

On the first page of comments there were people stating that it was related to this, even so I give up trying to continue trying, it is trying to find a relationship without conclusive clues, I can think that it is your date of birth due to your level and years of seniority in steam that they have something to see, but for sure the date of creation on steam does not clarify anything either since you can create an account at any age and the tattoo seems that you intuit in some ways 0 and 1 and in others like 6 8 or 9, you literally do not know what you are looking for or where to direct each detail you look at, so I see a waste of time looking for something without knowing what you are really looking for.

The clues that he added helped me to solve it, tries to capture the main message of each of the 4 lines, for a reason he put some color images, with them they will help you to know how to decipher the puzzle, he warns you about what you should see. The rest is a matter of how you see, once you understand it, it's really easy, but it's hard to make sense of it.

So sorry guys! I was on vacation these past few days and then our plane had issues and I was stranded for an extra day on the way home. I thought about getting on here on my phone while away but just ended up kinda disconnecting and enjoying myself haha. That said, I hope to put a link to the tool I made to generate this tomorrow after I clean it up and make it more user friendly (basically I hard coded a few things so I'll make it have an input and a button to create an image as I was just print-screening before).
So, my tattoo reads as Edoc'sil. I wanted a neat way to show it without just writing the word. The first thing I thought of was a barcode but it was recommended to me to not do that as they can be tricky. So, I chose binary! I went through a few different designs (see image below) but in the end settled on this one. The tattoo itself reads top-down but the binary part of it reads left to right. The circles are 0's, and lines are 1's. For the design I grouped all the circles together that were in a top down line. That part is simply because I thought it looked cool haha! It just so happens that it formed an 8x8 structure, very neat.
Basically, if you could figure out what my tattoo said, it might could give you the insight needed to translate the giveaway link (you put the five characters into a link address like https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/xxxxx/). If you are still a bit lost, check out the other attached image that shows how it translates.
As far as the other clues go, the first section in the poem was to try and get you to figure out my tattoo was "Edoc'sil". I specified that you should see my Steam profile as I couldn't have the apostrophe here.
The second section was sorta filler lines but also was to hopefully get you to not overthink the puzzle and realize that the solution for those is basically right there in front of you. Those images translate to RED and GREEN and also have a little horizontal strip of 8 squares to try and clue you in on the binary part.
The third section directly referred to the binary aspect.
The last section was somewhat filler but also was just trying to get you to try and look at things differently if you think you are close. Many people did the binary vertically at first instead of horizontal and were very much lost in the translation of it. Some also thought the circles were 1's and the lines 0's which I did not expect so this was to hopefully help get them to try different things. AlohaHawaii said it best I think:

Hello there!
In honor of my new tattoo, I figured I would do my first puzzle after enjoying so many over the years. I have one other tattoo but this is the first 'big' one I have gotten and one I have wanted to get for a while. I designed it myself! Hopefully you all like the puzzle and don't find it too difficult! Good luck!
Game is ELDEN RING and is level 3, as the thread title indicates. The method of delivery will be a key so please note that it may not be available right at the end of the giveaway depending on whether the store has given it to me yet or not. I made it end on the 28th though, so I would think it will be OK.
