I don't know about wine on mac, but you need xact and xna40 installed in the wine prefix to play it, according to the appdb entry. https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=33417

Try the VMWare Fusion, also make sure you have all required Directx and frameworks installed.
Or contact the wine support.

I recently bought Stardew Valley and I'd like to play it on my Macbook. I've installed the Windows version of Steam through Wineskin and I'm able to play games just fine... Except Stardew Valley. It says "performing first time setup", "running", then nothing. Does anyone here have experience with running games through WINE, and if so any ideas?
I have a Windows Desktop as well, but I'd like to be able to play it on the go. Thanks!
P.S. If someone manages to actually help me, I might have a small bundled games train. Maybe. ;)
