You're correct you can't see who it is from, but in case you're interested, it is possible to see when you got awards on which contributions: https://store.steampowered.com/pointssummary/

When Steam profile awards were introduced, I got awarded 9 of them in two days and it stayed like that for a while. While I was happy for them, it also bugged me a bit cause why not 10?! 10 is a cool round number, and having 10 of them is nice. Luckily, a few days ago someone got me one and "corrected" it from 9 do 10.
