Each of them have their email address listed. Request they accept your friend request on Steam to get their prize.

have a week?

Send them an email telling to add you. If they don't respond, wait one week (5 days more) and request a re-roll.

If it's been 7 days, (particularly in the case of the dude who has blocked you), I'd get the giveaways re-rolled.

As others have suggested, you could try emailing them, but it's not up to you to chase down the winners beyond adding them on Steam. You've done your part, and personally if somebody blocked me I wouldn't waste any more effort on them.

i know i have done my part but it would be nice to actually give them the games because is not so easy to win :D and honest to be i really don't want any troubles or bad reputation around here because some guys are not claiming the prizes

You won't get any bad rep by re-rolling, and your games will go to people who aren't rude ballbags like the dude who blocked you. The other guy who hasn't logged in for a week won't even know he ever "won" :)

A re-roll is completely transparent, and just means that the current winner gets replaced by a new one. There is no opportunity for the ex-winners to leave you bad feedback.

Obviously it's your game, and it's your call, but doing this would do no harm to your reputation whatsoever, and I know that if it was me I'd be happier to know that my game went to someone who didn't act like a dick.

Whatever option you choose, hope it gets resolved speedily :)

^^^ This.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I regularly get winners who don't seem to want their games. I will send a friend request by Steam, then a follow-up email if that doesn't work. Once I've done that, I have evidence I tried to contact them. After seven days, I make a Support ticket asking for a re-roll and I provide the evidence I tried to contact the winner (the email I sent).

that's why I don't create giveaways with less than $30.01 CV

Why $30.01? Why not just $30?

Permalink

Because with $30.01 the entrant has to have given away at least a cent of non-bundle content.

cuz anyone can have 30.

Also, "if" the guy that blocked you did it without you ever actually chatting with him first, don't take it personal. Some people really have issues with random friend requests. Rude is rude, but no need to take it personal if it wasn't. Who knows.. could have been a psychotic parental unit too. ;)

If you added them and they don't respond to it it's their own problem. Wait 7 days and reroll.

Ok so i gave 1 gift to one of the guys but it didn't count on Value...i have the same value like before...why??

  • Orion now counts as a "bundle/heavily discounted" game so to get above $30 CV you will need to give away other non-bundle games for CV to increase again

You'll get its value if you give away enough stuff that's not on the bundle list as it is

All of this information was covered in the FAQ you read when you joined this site, so none of this should be a surprise for you.

You did read the FAQ, didn't you?

"Boo" and, furthermore, "hoo".

It counts when you started the giveaway, so it's not the winner's fault.

Also, when they mark something as 'bundled' they note the date when the thing started, so any giveaway created after that date will be bundled, those created before that will not.

Which means you can't escape the bundle list unless you bought it before the bundle/discount existed and gave it away then.

CG could change your CV to what you actually paid for all 4 games, which was what, $4 at most?

Would you rather have that value instead of the $30 you currently have?

Ask for a reroll. Simply sending them may not result in them flagging your giveaway as being recieved and you've got 2 blemishes on your account AND you're out of two games.

When someone wins, you can see the email address. That's how you contact people. Steam is NOT email, nor facebook. You want to contact someone, use email.

Disagree entirely. Nobody is talking about sharing pictures of each other's cats, artwork or genitalia. Giving a gift via Steam chat simply means you can make sure everything has gone ok, and if there's a problem, you will still have the opportunity to re-roll. It's well worth doing, particularly when dealing with newbie winners, IMO.

If people are too rude to accept an invite, it's their lookout.

Yeah. Ive seen many people who have had games sent to their email as keys for them to say they never received them.

People don't accept invites because of all the "plz trade this for that" spammers. If you want to reach someone, you email them. You don't have to send a key or link. You just say "the GA is over, please add me on Steam."

It's common sense.

People enter a heap of giveaways, but don't check Steamgifts before routinely blocking invites?

The message is: "My time is more important than yours".

Fuck 'em. Give the game to someone who isn't so insanely busy...

It's common sense.

Problem with email is, not everyone will get the email, and you can't reroll bundle keys sent that way unless you want to risk it being used already when the next person goes to redeem it. Steam chat means you know they got the game. They can't deny getting the game.

You don't need to send the key/link. Just contact them through email.

I'm sure you'd be singing a different tune if you sent a key to the winner of one of your giveaways email and then had them just never respond or as I've seen many times, have them mark it not received...

Contacting a winner through Steam is THE BEST way to give a game on this site.

Sure the email is provided as well as the link to their Steam profile when someone wins your giveaway, but emailing a key is just plain silly and entirely too risky these days...

I had a similar issue where the winner never responded to my email, finally after 5 days I left a note on his profile and he responded right away.

Also regarding the winner that blocked you, you should check their profile to see if they've been on steamgifts recently. There's no way they could miss that green banner, they can clearly see the giveaway creator. If so, it's safe to say they probably don't care for the win and I would ask for a re-roll

You should check the winners profile. Those people like me who block random invites usually have a line about posting in the comment section before adding them somewhere on the profile. Anyway, maybe use another account (for the winner who blocked you) and put a line about them winning your giveaway and to unblock your main, if possible.

As for the other one, if seven days have passed with no response, you can probably ask for a re-roll.
