So I did a giveaway yesterday, gave out 5 games, 1 of the winners already played the game more than 10 hours and it's currently online on Steam and on Steamgifts but still doesn't mark the prize as received...

Can't I just report him/her now because the user clearly doesn't care after getting the game...

edit: thanks for all the feedback, I sent him a message on steam and I guess I will have to wait 7 days like you suggested if the prize isn't marked as received till then...

If the game has cards maybe he's just running it for them and might not be at his pc at all.

I left a message on steam profile after seeing him playing it more than 10h now :s I guess the user got addicted to the game and can't waste a few seconds to come and mark it as received :\

Is the instant feedback that important? As long as he marks it as received within 7 days, it is completely fine. I think you have to wait 7 days and if he still hasn't marked it, then a mod or support staff will add it for you.

Well the feedback does have an impact on opening other giveaways with steam gifts restricting you until the person has marked the gift as received.

If you are in a rush to set up another giveaway (due to having no slots left because you have others are on the go) then yes try contact him and use this as your reason for contacting him else wait it out before reporting the person. Maybe this person doesn't quite know how the site works although you would have to be pretty much a tool not to see how as its plain and clear as daylight!

I have an outstanding win that I can't activate since my home computer is busted. I am omly here via phone. Sure, mine is a rare case, but point is you can't be sure what is up on winner's side.
