Yeah, it's only giftable when you already own it.

Sad thing that you didn't read, there was Skyrim giveaway right in the middle of the message :(

If you feel it's unfair, ask Valve for a refund. They do that with preorders.
I don't see any reason though.

Sorry, you won't get "+1" for your "smart" opinion. StabMasterJozzz took all of them. :(

Hi guys. Maybe I should post this to the Steam-forum, but we're all steam-users here, right? So I have a question. On the general steam store page you can see a picture of Max Payne 3 with a title "Pre-Purchase Max Payne 3 and recieve a GIFTABLE copy of L.A. Noire for free!". Well, I was going to pre-purchase Max Payne 3 anyway, cuz first two are great and it's nice to have Mona and original Max models in multiplayer, but this offer was even greater. But when I bought it few hours ago I checked my inventory and I was like "OMGWTF!", because there was no L.A. Noire. After this I guessed to check my library and L.A. Noire was here. So it was my second "OMGWTF!". I'm sure that L.A. Noire is great and I have to try it, etc., but hey I thought I'll recieve a GIFTABLE copy of L.A. Noire and that was the best deal for me. So why if it said about "Giftable" copy I recieved activated one right to my library? I think it's li'l unfair, isn't it?
