Its been years since I played most of the games, so remembering their names is difficult. I was attempting these without looking anything up, even to confirm the names of the characters I can remember fighting.
Revolver Ocelot, Vamp and a few others are still remembered, but not all of them.

Short answer: like shit. :p But seriously, PW had a really emotional story and amazing Codec Calls, but at the same time, it also had really atrocious gameplay. Which is kinda ironic, since Phantom Pain, a game that is constantly praised for its gameplay and scolded for its dumbed down story and no Codec calls -.-, draws a lot of inspiration from PW.
Oh, and that turn-based wtf was Metal Gear Acid. :p

Honestly, I've never been a huge Solid Snake fan. Big Boss always seemed for me to be much more "human" and complicated than his most famous clone. Big Boss makes mistakes and is able to show weakness. Solid on the other hand was created to not do those two things. Sure, both of them were just mere puppets with the "Legend" label attached to them, but the way they both dealt with really shows the huge differences, which for me, work in the favor of BB.
Again, I get where you comming from, but I'm really unable to agree. :)
On the topic of voice acting. Sure not being able to hear Hayter's iconic voice is a real shame, but the thing that bothers me more, is the fact that Troy Baker, someone who voice acts absolutely everything, does the voice of such a unique for the MG series character as Ocelot. It's propably just my fangirlism speaking, but yeah, not cool. ;-;

Yeah, but you know, unlike SoL Liquid isn't actually in MGS4 and I honestly doubt that Ocelot would be crazy enough to inject himself with even more nanomachines just to fake Liquid's voice for no real reason. Especially since the only witnesses of Eli speaking with his own voice during Tanker and Big Shell incident are either:
a) dead
b) named Solid Snake and Raiden

Nope, Ocelot actually got rid of Liquid's arm shortly after Big Shell, because it was driving him insane. There's no Liquid in Liquid Ocelot in MGS4. It's actually purely good ol' Shalashaska personificating Liquid in order to fuck with the Patriots AIs and buy some time for BB. All this was achieved by a few tons of nanomachines and meditation. Remember that "Cats do love to play as snakes" thing?

Wanted to this for a long time and I'm still a bit dissapointed in myself for making it so short, but hey, it's something
Anyway, if you're a newcomer to MGS then don't worry, because everything is googleable.
My main point in creating this puzzle was to find out, if you guys can show me that you're actually willing to do a little digging into the series before trying to jump into the very middle of it. I didn't intend this for die-hard fans only but of course, they're also wholeheartedly welcomed :3
