In some regards– mainly dramaturgy and level variety– the second one is better, but it is also very short (2-3 hours of game time) with a lot of drawn-out cut-scenes. And it's more like a drug trip than a noir story.

Welll I enjoyed both, but the first one had the most impact on me, I think. Everything was new, and I loved the main character's voice.
