Hide giveaways for DLC if you're missing the base game? >>i use yes
should it hide the dlc that i did not have the base game?

but i got a DLC and i do not have the base game
what should i do?

usually yes, but steam api have some errors regarding DLC requirements, so SG using steam api will list these wrong as well.

as for your edit, contact GA creator, inform him and ask to request a reroll. DLC will go to another winner

Alternatively just buy/obtain the base game from somewhere then activate DLC, that should be both morally and legally acceptable.
