You can re-bind the buttons in Xbox 360 Controller Emulator though so you can configure them however you want. Is that not working right??

Check if buttons on your controller match the buttons in x360ce. Just hold one button and compare it to what is highlighted (and do this to all of them). If everything seems ok, just save and quit. Then tell here about the result. ;)

Hey, I have a correct version of x360ce for it and will tell you as soon as I find it.

If you can't solve the joystick problem, contact me, as I have a versión ef x360ce that works like a charm with Dark Souls (using a PS2 controller with an adapter). Just add me in Steam if you need it!

Hey, Nearly figured it all out in the first try; Excepcting Q4 , I don't get it :L , do you mean when you use it or something in the background?
PD: Sorry for not knowing anything about the topic excepting the greatness of the game ( I use mouse & keyboard ).

Never had that isue with x360ce(haven't played darksouls). I use DS3 Tool now and it's great. Also bump for solved.

Just test different versions of x360ce, although your controller might be way too old and it might not be supported by x360ce. My cordless rumblepad 2 works with dark souls with x360ce without problems, so anything newer than it should also work.

Are the hints broken? It has shown "Hints will appear in 0h 30m" for hours now.

Here, try my config files, I've used it with Dark Souls and many other games and it works perfect.
Only 1 game so far did what you mentioned, Mark of the Ninja, in which I switched config on the game and/or edited the INI, works like a charm!
