It's basically a newer and in many people's opinion superior version of isthereanydeal.
It's actually really good but I haven't used it enough to go into full detail in what aspects exactly it's superior to isthereanydeal.
Also if I remember correctly it's run by a SteamGifts member.

Depends. It has a fancier UI, and for simple deal-hunting, it is better indeed.
It is not even in the same league when it comes to searching and filters, though. The only real advantage I found on GG is that it allows sorting games by title, ITAD still did not learn what an alphabet is… :|
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, since I've mostly used it for simple inquiries like what bundles was this game in or lowest price / price history I prefer it mostly because of the clean, pleasant looking UI but I think it doesn't have those Waitlist features OP mentioned, does it?

GG has Steam wish list sync and alerts, but not a universal handmade one like on ITAD. If one is living their gaming life on Steam, GG is plenty enough for most needs. For me, who actively tries to avoid Steam if possible, ITAD is faaaaaar better. :)

I see. Thanks for adding some meat to my initial suggestion 😉

indeed, you can track games on Uplay,Origin,Epic and Microsoft store there as well, steam login is not required and you can create your own Waitlist/Wishlist.

Good to know but unless it tracks PSN deals not really relevant for me personally. While I do have an Epic and GOG account I do most of my gaming on PS4 or Steam.
AAA on console because my toaster-potato can't handle them 😅, quality Indie games on Steam.

Cool, thanks! Already used it to confirm my infos for this comment.
It was quite annoying to check PSN store every week until Division 2 - Warlords of New York expansion finally got a sale.
On a sitenote: Massive or rather Ubisoft must really hate, no DESPISE the early adopters of their games.
12,99€ for the expansion compared to 14,99€ for the Edition that includes both base game and expansion?! Are you frickin' kidding me?

Oh, there are so many cases like that, though that is particularly egregious.
Dishonored (fantastic game) would periodically go on sale for $2.50, or $10 for the Definitive Edition with all the DLC. If you wanted to get just the story DLC, it would cost the same $10. If you wanted to get all the DLC, it would be $15.
So if you bought it for $2.50 and discovered that you loved it and wanted to get the story DLC, you'd basically have to buy it again as the Definitive Edition to get the story DLC.

Nice 😄 I just learned a new word. Egregious I'm always trying to improve my English vocabulary.
Yeah, sadly this is rather the norm than some weird exception. That's why

not a universal handmade one like on ITAD
You can heart any game, for any store. What more would you expect?
It is not even in the same league when it comes to searching and filters, though.
I'm also wondering about this one. Or aren't you aware that you can click on all these headers, to find all the filtering options? I'm not aware of any filter option that ITAD has and would be missing at GG.
And even better: GG allows you to save your customized filter preferences.
Comment has been collapsed.
You are right, a lot of filters are in now, GG has done a great job since its inception. The only ones missing are:
I really appreciate that GG.deals displays any Gamepass/EA Play info, ITAD is sorely lacking that. It would be even better if somehow they found a way to scrape PS Now information, since that service is also available on PC for a while.
I also like that GG can tell if a similarly-named games are the same product and does not list them as 2–10 separate deals. If I want to look for one specific game, I now more often look for it at GG.
I highly frown upon GG though for not only acknowledging the grey market but even scraping them as well, giving them exposure when any self-respecting gaming site should avoid even mentioning them in positive context. And no, having an optional small button that lists how they fuck over the customer is not meaningful information.

gg.deals is new site from the owner/owners of "Łowcy gier" polish site about games. It's not run by SG member (they probably have SG accounts too), but by their small company. I just wanted to make it clear, because from what you wrote, it may sound like it is running by one person non-profit, which isn't true.
Comment has been collapsed.
I see. Thanks! I just vaguely remembered a couple of years ago somebody made a thread asking what we thought about this "new site they made" and if we have any input / ideas for improvement but since we're (I assume) one of the largest gaming communities beside Reddit it would make sense to ask here, even if it's run by a small company and not a single person.
But I never implied it was non-profit. Normally those are mostly used to cover server costs I assume but AFAIK most sites made by SteamGifter like the very handy but now dead keygiveaway.com had or have ads and some sort of patron program.
But yeah I see how one might assume that when I say "run by a SteamGifter" 😉

I knew there was something ^^
I'm not entirely sure how the Smash Mouth song is related to the rest (is remike another member of the band beside Steve?) but I'm glad you posted it 😄
It's sort of an odd coincidence because I recently remembered they exist after not having thought about them for several years and I listened to All Star at least half a dozen times since that. And also I'm A Believer several times. That's why I know that one guys name is Steve because they mention it at the end of the video.
I haven't googled it yet but I'm wondering what movie All Star was made for.
I usually don't particularly like Ben Stiller's humour (except Dodgeball) because it's often much too tame and american for my rather dark taste but that one seems right up my alley 😅

Ohh 😅 Normally I always pay very close attention to the lyrics with music, often more than to the rhythm, but in this case I must have missed that because I was wondering if this was one of their early songs because Steve looks different and has short hair.

Is there any deal? Yes, there is! Find games on sale in a matter of seconds
That's at the bottom of the site. Sounds like a jab at Isthereanydeal.com
Comment has been collapsed.
What I really miss there is an ignore option. Ofc you could add things to your collection to avoid them showing up, but that's not what "collection" should stand for then. Use sorting by highest discount and you always end up in packs you already own in that list, because the API can't recognize them. ITAD directly offers an Ignore functionality, GG unfortunately not.

Edit: Made a joke, but removed it because migh be against the rules :)

isthereanydeal and gg.deals are both great sites. I have isthereanydeal send me emails if a game from my wishlist is in a bundle or goes on sale for more than a certain percent off.
Some other sites I find useful:
lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/ (great for sorting the games you already own in a lot of different ways)
howlongtobeat.com (great for finding out how long a game is if you are looking for something to play that is a certain length)

That's for rookies. Altavista ist the way to go for us true connoisseurs 😋

Very bad, glitchy and insanely slow website compared to gg.deals
Comment has been collapsed.
probably old one, I ended using it about 1 year ago though current version looks like from the 90s anyway
Comment has been collapsed.
Slow and glitchy? I haven't experienced any issues with ITAD.
The interface is definitely dated and a little counter-intuitive (finding the right game can be difficult when there are multiple different versions), but it's always worked fine.
GG.com, on the other hand, is incredibly slow on mobile. On my phone feel like I have to wait a minute just for the site to load before I can even search, and doing things like setting up alerts is really slow even after it loads. It looks great, and it's easy to use, but it's so sloooow on mobile.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, I remember waiting for few hours when I tried to make a query for price history of some game and their database was simply lagging. Database of gg.deals works much, much faster with fast internet
Comment has been collapsed.
A few hours? Yikes! That really sounds like an isolated incident where something on their end just broke. I've been using ITAD since I learned of it years ago, and in that time it's always been instant for me.
GG.Deals is fine on my PC, but on my phone it takes foreeeeveeeer to load.

I work in internet marketing and should say their interface looks like from webdesign from the 90s

everyone will find something for themselves here (с) IGN diplomatically about new crappy game

Haha well I was around in the 90ies and I can tell you I'd have been happy with a website looking like that
For memory's sake, here's IMDB in 1996

Haha, current version of IMDB is still a bit better

Hi guys,
I have been using it for couple of weeks, but this website is very very very good:
https://isthereanydeal.com/
It basically follows all websites and platforms which sell official keys/games for Steam and other platforms.
Why is it good?
You can make your own Waitlist, that means, that if you want a certain game, and want to know when it goes on sale and for what price, you can add it to your Waitlist. Istherenaydeal will then keep it saved and show you always the lowest price available for that game, from all websites that sell it, even lesser known ones. It shows what bundles just started as well, and also shows currently free games.
I counted amount of websites it tracks, and it tracks 39 websites/platforms at the same time.
It also warns you when game reaches historical low.
Steam log in is not required, you can track games on other platforms apart from Steam, like Epic,Origin,Uplay,Microsoft store and you can create your own Waitlist/Wishlist.
