In your calculation use only 3 decimal numbers, and don't round the numbers!

You do know that you contradict yourself.. Not using all the digits is rounding.
The correct answer is 4.501581581, which is not the answer you decided on and not any variation of it.

Yes, It's true! I mean don't round up or down the last decimal number :) Nice notice!

Oh, so it was a comma and not a point.. Was fun anyhow.

'Correct', LOL. The answer is an irrational number, it can not be expressed with a finite number of decimal digits. It is your calculator which truncated/rounded it to this length.
EDIT: The built-in calculator of Windows shows 4,5015815807855303477759959550337 as the result, which is still not correct, just closer to it.

this.

the correct answer is (sqrt(2)*10/pi) which cannot be written exactly with a finite number of digits

And you are absolutely right, didn't think it through actually, just punched it through the calculator.

Why'd you use comma instead of a point?

Some countries use commas. I believe it's mainly European countries.

Relevant map

As you may guess, blue - point, green - comma. (Probably not 100% accurate though, as suggested by wiki's talk page.)

If you say" add only 3 decimal numbers, and don't round the numbers!"
people use integercuts...nobody would guess, that we have to round in the calculation but not the result.
It would have been easier if you just say round your result to 3 decimals and also use point an comma in your solution-list.

Solved, but have the game already. I might steal your idea, though...it is a cool way to present a giveaway where it requires a bit of effort, you can't google the exact answer, but it is still doable.
