Congratulations on the milesone. You reminded me of MilleW. I used to track her game count occasionally when I saw her posting, ever since she celebrated 3000 games. Haven't done it for a while (because she's not posting), but I searched now and saw that she too passed the 8000 game mark. Ah, the good old days of stalking are gone. Too bad.
Anyway, nice to see this kind of dedication. Well, not really; I'm against people buying shitty games to up their game count, because it gives money to devs of these games. Still, it's impressive.

Fortunately, the shitty games are either from bundles or from the 90% coupons that drop when crafting badges. So at least they're not making a whole lot of money from me. :P

Congrats on the 8k, Zomby (and thanks for the gibs), but I'm more curious how many you had before you joined Steamgifts.
Bundle threads, charts, deals, and even finding new games in the GA list are making it way too easy for me to blow my money on games.

According to my Licenses and product key activations page on Steam, I had a grand total of 8 games when I first joined.

I still can't really believe it but according to my stats I joined SG the day I opened my steam account with 7 games, one I bought cause I wanted it and a bundle cause I wanted to try the whole bundling thing... I know I was late to the whole steam thing cause I was more into... alternative sources... and I also feared it would turn me into even more of a hoarder ;) but still, having immediately joined steamgifts surprises me...

Im only at ~2.5k games :/ my acc is almost as old as steam though and I just recently started hoarding... like 2-3 years ago xD
I thre a big 1k and 2k party where I invited my gamerfriends from internet to join a steamgroup and made tons and tons of private SG giveaways^^ was a blast!

Sometime in the last few weeks, I noticed that the game count in my library had pushed over 8,000. No pretention of royalty or deity this time around, I've been dubbed a Stockpiler Supreme which is a nice way of saying that I'm an untreated game hoarder.
I've been wanting to make a celebratory thread for a couple weeks but kept posponing it for various reasons. Well, it's here now and I have a couple of giveaways for you to celebrate my evergrowing pile of more games than I will ever play.
