New PC - humming sound in my audio signal

Hi,

I've built a new pc with an R9 280X. I know, this card has coil whining issues, but that doesn't bother me.
It's rather a humming sound comming out of my speakers. My good old logitech z4.
It started with chancing the pc. I don't know whether it is an ground loop issue, but I don't believe that. Due to the fact, the humming frequence is changing with the load of my graphic card.
For example: I play a game and I look straight to the ground. Nothing to do here for my graphics card. Humming frequnce: low. Then, I move the cursor up to a bright light with blur effects and so on: graphics card has to do well -> humming frequence is increasing.

Has anyone of you made experience with such noises?

are you using onboard audio?
if your using a sound card you might have to move it to another slot if possible as it might be getting interference from that lucky with my video card i only get some interference with low volume

it might also just be your speakers you could always try moving them?? it could also be your cables picking up interference

yes I'm using the onboard audio card. So there is now way moving my sound card to a different slot, unfortunately.
I'll try moving my speakers and using a shorter audio cable. I hope that helps.

If you are using case front panel to connect headphones / speakers then you might wanna plug them directly to sound card, it should reduce it.

you might just have to buck up and get a sound card unless you have a gaming board that isolates the on board audio

a sound card will help and give you better audio then on board will unless like i said you have one newer gaming mother boards as they have isolated audio with sound blaster built in

or you can do what i do when ever it is possible i hook my sound card into my surround receiver as that eliminates feed back

you could also check to see if your speakers are shieldeded as i know a lot older ones where not shielded and picked up noise

the more electronics we keep adding the more it will become an issue as the all the cross talk from other devices and what not

anyhow i hope you find a fix to your problem as having sound is kinda important on a pc lol

you could also look into a external usb sound card

There are no usb disks plugged. Only an internal SSD and a HDD over S-ATA.

All of the integrated cards are noisy, no matter what. An SB Audigy is only 20-30$. That's not so damn expensive for a crystal clear sound.

Does your electrical wiring at your home have a ground connection?

If not, there may be looping electrical current inside the wiring at your home and that looping current is generating the hum on your PC speakers.

I had the exact same thing with my previous PC and unfortunately it did happen using both front and back panel (probably the interference was in motherboard level, i.e. it affected the integrated sound card directly). I can confirm that a USB set with separate sound device fixes the issue, but it's not a perfect solution of course.

Can you try to use another PSU? There is a chance the GPU causes interference when it needs power under heavy load. Also pretty often there are several pcie x16 slots - try to plug your card into another slot if possible.

Take a look at the electricity plugs in your home. In the most of cases is about electricity power and energy.
If it was a loop (feedback you meant i guess) the sound would increase more and more till become unbearable, so it's not feedback, it's something related with electricity.
