Yes, private profiles don't work with the tool, so it's best to add the user and check for yourself next time.

Yes, the tool cannot check private profiles.
If you want to make sure, Support has told me that you can make a ticket and they will check private profiles for you based on their last sync.

ask the winner to set his profile to public so you can check. if he denies the request, send a "request new winner" ticket to support and wait for their reply.

is there a chance that sgtools non-activated wins will be fixed to skip the games and dlc that it cant check?

I am fairly new here and haven't really been checking my winners, but one of the recent ones is showing a lot of non-activated gifts. Would his profile being private hide those games from the website so it thinks they are not redeemed? I am just not sure how to proceed with this.
