$12.74 on GOG, at least for me. If I had the money I'd grab it.

Witcher 3 is such a great game, $20 is a steal. Go get it if you don't already own it

Not quite the same thing, but because I have TW1 and TW2 on Steam, The Witcher Trilogy Steam bundle-- which contains the base game of TW3, is 2 USD less than just buying TW3 base game itself.
(Of course you should just spend $2 more for the GOTY Edition, but...)

Own base game on GOG, will buy GOTY on Steam --- tempted to do it right now, but I won't be playing it that soon, so it's probably safe to wait for the end-of-year sale. Right?

Or Humble's gonna bundle it for monthly. xD

I'd laugh my heart out if it happens.

I'd cry my eyes out if that were to happen this month since I won't get this monthly.

I think that, if The Witcher 3 ends up in a Monthly, it will be as the "known" title, not as one of the "secret" ones

Agreed.

+1.

And if for some reason it did appear as a "secret" one, it would be the base game, never the GOTY.

Don't worry I will not buy this monthly as well so at least you have one crying buddy =s

Finally bought the GOTY. Now i only need to find the motivation to finish Witcher 2. I got really annoyed with the game taking forever to load towards the end.

You do not need to know anything from Witcher 2 to enjoy Witcher 3.

I started playing 2 after spending 100+ hours in 3 (have it on GOG) ;)

I wanna use the savegame import when i start Witcher 3, so the choices i made in Witcher 1+2 have an impact.

i remember that. you need to delete some of the savegames that pile up during playing since the cursed game never overwrites anything. so you end up with 100 autosaves and even loading the list takes forever. so does deleting them one at a time...
witcher 2 was really pretty mediocre...

Don't listen to them! Playing whole trilogy and importing save is best way to get immersed by this story and world. I played it this way and I'm glad I did it, so much immersion and knowledge about the world and people.

And if already you own 1 & 2, it's even cheaper. But I'lll pass it anyway. Tried Witcher 2 and couldn't play more than 15 minutes. That's so many keys to do all that shit, takes all the fun away.

I took it (GOTY) on summer sale with 50% discount and i don't regret at all! I wouldn't even if i bought it for full price. Because it is one of the best games of the decade, it's A LOT of value for money.

bought it yesterday - can't complain.
have all 3 parts of the game on GOG and won't buy them on STEAM even if a price drop would come to a ridiculous point.
the only game trilogy that should definitely be bought only on GOG.

You can get achievements if you buy from GOG as well and there's nothing stopping you from sharing screenshots. However, If someone specifically wants the Steam client to handle those things, for some reason, there's obviously no option.

Vaguely interested but won't ever play until I finish Witcher 1 and 2, and it's not high on my backlog because my first attempt at Witcher 1 was painful and boring to the point that I uninstalled after barely outside of the tutorial, haha.

Maybe someday-

Tutorial was the worst part of Witcher 1, if I remember correctly. That said, the game is pretty old so you might wanna just skip it..

Spoilers : I bought it anyway.
I might force myself to push through Witcher 1 and deliberately ignore all sidequests, just to get to Witcher 2 that people say is far better. Wither 3 is the real goal though. |3
