Which continet are you from?
Happy Bday! ^^
Out of curiosity, Mother Russia belongs to Asia, Europe, or both?

Nope :/
Oceania is an island continent on Earth consists of the continental shelf of Australia, the islands of New Guinea, New Zealand and coral and volcanic islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. A sector experts believe that Insulindia also part of Oceania. All these islands are distributed across the Pacific Ocean. With an area of 9,008,458 square kilometers, it is the smallest continent on the planet.
In other Continental models, for example in the English-speaking ones, Australia (continent) is used instead of Oceania, [citation needed] but in this case its definition does not include the Pacific Islands.

I think at some point a Kiwi got offended like:
"Why the hell would you call it Australia, we are also here, why always Australia!?"
"OK, OK, chill, let's just call it Oceania for gods sake!"
On a more serious thought it's often called Oceania to avoid confusing it with the country like in FIFA continental zones (Africa, Asia, North and Central America and Caribbean, South America, Oceania, Europe)

But there is no continent model where New Zealand is part of Australia.
It's either called Australia and then it's really just Australia and Oceania is how the whole region Australia + Island is called (but not a continent)
Or it's called Oceania as continent and then Australia is just the name of the country.
But new zealand is neither geographical nor political (or whatever) part of the Australian continent.
