Well you see, you find a dead turtle out on the beach and decide to use it to make some turtle soup. I dunno why, you just have a thing for it. In fact, you love turtle soup.
But then once you remove the shell you realize the turtle is actually a lot smaller, so it won't really do much for soup. Why you didn't already know this, being such a huge fan of turtle soup, is a mystery.
Okay, I don't know where I'm going with this.

Four of the support members have left the job recently.

I mentioned some interest to Support, they mention it to CG, he decides if anything happens.

I remember Mike has pretty been quiet, and can't remember the other three mentioned in a topic yesterday.
Edit - found the post.

I'm still hoping for one of the people to get removed from support though. They constantly break the rules of the forum but never get in trouble. If you know who I'm talking about, don't mention the name. That would be considered calling out.

While one of the Support members can be harsh, the people he responds to in that way often deserve it.

True some members may do stupid stuff, make mistakes, or completely deserve it...
However, it's like certain support is fueling their little fire with gasoline and throwing some fireworks into the mix, expecting it to simply go out rather than completely blowing up in their hand. They use abuse, swear and insult to demand respect, then turn around and wonder why they don't get it... They don't even set a good example, if anyone else does what they do, they simply throw a fit and the ban hammer. They beg and even troll for others to make a mistake just so they can throw their power hungry control at them.

If you provide evidence then that would be calling out. If you haven't encountered the problems that many have encountered with specific Support members then count yourself lucky. The one I'm talking to swears at people, completely disrespects them, and then tells others not to do what they just did the next day.

Oh, I know that they swear a lot. However, I have NEVER seen said staff member "disrespect people" or anything else you said.
I am asking for evidence to back up "abuse...insult to demand respect...they simply throw and fit and the ban hammer. They beg and even troll for others to make a mistake just so they can throw their power hungry control at them."
I've been on the forums for over half a year, and I have NEVER seen any of what I listed. So they better back that up with evidence. Also, they could PM me screencaps, so there wouldn't be "calling out"

Well I once heard you're in your right to complain if you get a service worse than you're paing for.
Oh wait... no one is paying them to be here helpíng...? And you never paid anything to be in the site...? Oh my... that's embarrassing... I fear that I'll be unable to help you here D=

Haven't some of the ex-staff complained about how shitty this community is? And I dont disagree but you cant blame them for leaving if they actually said or left based on that.
And as for some of the previous posts regarding a certain staff member not being a good example, well think of it as fighting fire with fire. I dont know the whole situation and I may be wrong but it may be the only way to get through to certain people.
Not to mention the large backlog of tickets/reports they have. Who knows how long it would take to catch up. I think it was something like 50,000+ tickets, that would take a while to catch up. Hell just see how long or many greenlight games you can vote for before you give up, and that is just pressing a button and not requiring a response.

Staff may become a bit smaller with age. It's normal.

Believe it or not, it is often more satisfying to be a member of a community rather than an administrator of it (especially when such is purely voluntary).

I find it's easier to be a member of a community if you help staff it. I've moderated Twitch chats and Minecraft servers(Back when I actually played that), and I was participating even more. Mainly because A. I like being a part of communities, and B. I had to pay attention anyways due to being staff.
-Shrugs- I dunno, that's been my experience

On one hand yes, it certainly increases your involvement, but does it increase your satisfaction? There are varying degrees of participation, but in my experience (on both sides) the tendency to "burn out" is certainly higher among the volunteer administrative "workforce" we see in the digital realms of today.

I consider it to be healthy, I wouldn't say anyone can be overstaffed.
