I'm glad to see a definitive date. I'm sad to see it's been delayed again rather than getting the intended Spring release.
The universe is a perfect fit for the Fatshark formula of gameplay as well. Hordes of potential enemies to thrash and a plethora of melee and ranged weaponry to do so with. I only hope Fatshark taps into the full potential of the universe considering the numerous races and combat related choices at their disposal.
As much as I both enjoyed and despised Verminturd, I'm hopeful to see how Darktide turns out. The lore is there for an amazing story and the co-op action oriented style of gameplay couldn't be a better fit for the theme and setting. It's also nice to see a break from the more common Space Marine theme and instead get a bit more focus on the Imperial Guard and Inquisition.

After 8+ months Fat Shark finally makes an announcement on its upcoming title "Darktide" which Is set to release on 9/13/22
Fat Shark is the Developers of the Vermintide series (they are fantastic games, I highly recommend them) and Darktide is supposed to be the same as far as the structure of how you play through (Basically like the L4D series, fight thru a mostly linear map while you're hoarded by randomly generated groups of enemies)
Vermintide was heavily melee focused but Darktide is supposed to have more gunplay in it which I assume is due to it being set In a different Warhammer universe than Vermintide.
Just wanted to share that info. I love Vermintide and I am extremely excited for this too!
