Yes, this is a nice program. I've been using it for quite a while, too. It affects the color of the screen rather than the brightness though, so you still need to control brightness on your own. But I still think it's helpful. At first you may notice the color difference, but after a while you should get used to it. That's how it went with me, and now I only really notice f.lux if it's not running, because then my screen looks wrong.

The only thing to keep in mind is that it should be on "Fast" transition if you game a lot. When it changes the color temperature it can cause games to stutter slightly, so you don't want the transition to take an hour. Not really a problem when the transition effect is 20 seconds as it is on fast though.
Other than that it works fantastically, been using it for several years now and it's always the first program I install on any computer I use.

It's a very slight stuttering that you can notice in games where you have high framerates. Only seems to happen when flux updates the color though, so it's basically a non-issue when using the fast transition.
The actual color changes does work in most games from what I've seen. There's only the odd game once in a while that uses it's own color profile where it does not.

The sudden change when you turn that on is pretty huge; in indeed looks a bit too yellow at start.
But if you set it so that the screen changes in the course of the whole hour, you don't notice that. After a couple days of using it, I must say it's much more comfortable at night. Btw. fullscreen apps like games are not affected by this AFAIK.

I've been using this program for quite a while now and I recommend it
This simple program changes the temperature of your screen depending on the hour so if you're using PC at 1am with the screen on brightest, this program is going to bring it down so your eyes doesn't have to absorb all of that light at this time..
Check it out, it's really cool
