Bullshit. At most this may be an effect due to circumstances.
The only thing that affects your chances of winning is the amount of giveaways you enter and the number of entries in said giveaways. More giveaways entered = higher chances of winning something, and less entries in a giveaway = higher chances of winning said giveaway.
Now, what affects entries in giveaways is debatable, but it doesn't really matter in the end. marsHm311oW is being misleading.

It depends on what giveaways you entered. Entering as many giveaways was possible, especially all the big ones that give away lots of copies, would generally get you about that many.
Also, it depends on if you buy bundles or not - many bundle games are given away and get few entries, so if you don't buy even the very popular, very cheap bundles, you can win a few games from them here pretty regularly.
