Where?
Oh, I will. Haveabout 140 smt games left. So, that's like 30-ish weeks of giveaways. Hopefully each week a couple will be made. I usually start them on Monday and end on Friday. That is, if I manage to send all the games from the train to their winners before the start date.

Until the event is over or smt. We will see. Plan on just doing GA until I'm out of games.

It's your giveaway and I respect it, but +500 pieces jigidi without knowing the game is borderline cruel ^_^
At least say when the giveaway ends, I think that point is more than fair, it's very very needed.
In any case, even if the game was in my top 5 most-wanted, I'd doubt I'd make such a big jigidi. My wrists are already too bad. As soon as I renew contract in my job, I'll head to the traumatologist and then surgery.

What would you say is a good number? Also, I probs should put the "timer" for my GA, but I've been consistent for four weeks now (Monday start, Friday noon end). Will put it in the post.

Since I think I'm in a special situation (CTS) I don't think my opinion is valid in this context. But see that still no one has finished it (as of writing this now); it'll probably take 2 hours for the fastest, 3-4 on average as I think it's not a specially difficult puzzle and several areas can be completed by grouping by colour. Maybe I'm wrong and it'll take more as I never did such a large jigidi. I'm not sure but I think I never saw such a large jigidi here. You'll have very few entries, I think. Still, for the challenge and fun, if my wrists were working properly, I'd do the jigidi. Kind of masochist here with computer jigsaws, a part of me awakened again when I entered SG... Sigh.
Looking at my past jigidis, 250 pieces go 60-90 minutes, but then a specially difficult 290 one took me 2 whole hours. 300 to 350 would be a good number, but it's a personal opinion, take it with many grains of salt. I can't also search or sort the jigidis I finished so I just gave a quick look... 18 pages of jigidis done, damn me and my wrists lol
I know this is a very extreme case, but it's also the most difficult and largest I've made. Took me 5 hours, and I think the top time cheated because I can't imagine how to do it that fast no matter what method used in this case. At that time there were many cheaters on jigidis, and it didn't reach the top yet IIRC.

It left my wrist totally wrecked due to it (and I didn't do it in one go) and I had to abandon the event (which included many more jigidis).
About your 0CV games... Just because they give no CV, doesn't mean they're not worth it. I have many good games in my key list with 0CV. I just give them in giveaways thinking of how good they are, so specially good games have either high level and/or whitelist only. You can see in my stats I've given many 0CV games. People enter for them just as usual, winner gets a nice game just as usual. They're valid and known-sourced keys, no need to drop them in the orphan thread or anything, just a fair raffle easily made, just a normal giveaway. That's my policy regarding 0CV games, I thought you'd like to hear an opinion about it.

I'm sorry about your wrist, as a computer worker myself I've had waves of wrist pain before but I've never had it diagnosed. It never lasted more than a few weeks and went away after a few days of kinesio tape.
That puzzle you linked though, the 405 pieces one, I opened it and it looked at me so defiantly - I couldn't walk away from the challenge :D It's terrifying but tantalising, I'll give it a go. I usually do them in Zen mode though.

Check if you have carpal tunnel because it goes worse with age and it's a relatively simple surgery. If that's what you have.
I use wristbands with a fixed angle piece which puts the wrists completely straight. The wrists, not the hands.
Here kinesio tape hasn't become known and somewhat popular until recently. I know what it is but I think I've seen it used once or twice only.

I used the 0CV games to get the non-bundled games I gave away the last two weeks. A win-win situation imo, big π§ time. As for the jigidi, I guess not enough masochists' took a shot at it before I changed it, it's now sitting at 41 solved, compared to the 109 of the 204 pieces one. I think I'll do two versions in the future. Not sure if I'll do separete giveaways for them, will think about that.

well, I wouldn't say managing to put together my majestic face and moustache isn't progress. You probably just got lost in their eyes, they can do that sometimes to anyone who gazes upon them. FYI, I edited the jigidi link with a version that has 204 pieces, hopefully that is better.

Jigidi is basically your profile picture, right? Let's do it! Will comment updates!

Welp I did the Jigidi... only to see that the puzzle ID had changed in the time it took me to do it
I hope there wasn't something hidden behind it because I can't spend another 2 hours on it lol. Thanks for the puzzle though!

Due to overwhelmingly positive responses to the 500+ mustache jigidi, I have decided to cut the number of puzzle pieces in half. Those 10 that solved my giant majestic jigidi (which took roughly 1-2 hours), will be whitelisted and will be invited to take part in a special GA soon as a sort of apology for now making it easier for the rest. I gotta respect my masochistic and sadist dudes and dudettes.

Is the smaller one the same game as the 2316236 piece one? I really don't feel like doing it again for a game I already own. :/
Comment has been collapsed.
It is. Next time I will probably do two versions. Will do a whitelist GA for people who solved the big one due to only having one game for both jigidi versions

Hmmm. Suspicious bump. Can't find the last/only secret...

I belive in you. Also, love your pfp, just finished Devil is a Part-Timer S2.

Haha. Thanks. It's such a great series that surprisingly doesn't get talked about a lot. Part of which admittedly is the incredible long gap after the first season.

Yeah, it wasn't populare (when it first came out), and it seems that they will end the series with S2 (people say they cut out a lot of important stuff that would set up later seasons). Was still a fun ride.

I wanted to see where you're from where it doesn't snow, so I went to your steam profile, looked up your region and ended up reading all about JosΓ© Paulino Gomes who died at almost 128 years old this year o.o
Thank you for the rabbit hole! It was very interesting <3

Bumpin. At the risk of making your eye twitch, I'm bummed I didn't get the chance to take a shot at the monster puzzle lol.

Added the bigger one back. Now people can choose to test their might, if they are brave enough that is.

So, ever since I stopped buying bundles and trading, I've found myself left with quite a few games in my backpack, collecting e-dust. And since one man's trash can be another man's treasure, instead of them rotting away with me, I'll be doing the train thingy with all the games none of my friends want until I run out of games to give away and each finds a new home. I know not all will be quality games. Still, I hope the winners enjoy them, in their own way (be it playing or just the games helping in growing their collection).
Dunno why I didn't put this here sooner, so my bad, but the GAs will run from Monday to Friday, all of them. Now, the exact time might vary depending on when I start making the GAs and when the winners respond. But I'll try to be consistent with the start and end time.
One change (boy was I wrong) to the "event" β I will blacklist people who win, so that more people get the chance to win a game. You can look at my backpack of goodies if you want to know what games I will be gifting. Maybe you're not that interested in Death Stranding Director's Cut, perhaps you're more of a Mafia guy? Not sure what I'll do with the 0 CV games. Who knows.
This train has now evolved past a simple train β now it will also have some jigidi goodness. There will also be a secret, or two... somewhere. So, keep your eyes peeled and gamer senses sharp.
Now it's time to powerlevel my SteamGifts level! Big numbers are always great.
