Are you sure this works? I am currently trying it with Portal. Same engine as far as I know, and judging by youtubve, same folder structure, does not have a steamapi.dll which seems to override on other games. But it does not show as playing a certain game.
Edit: Nevermiond, had to run as administrator. :D

I got all my drops at the sale, I've got a few games since then, those cards don't farmed.
Btw it seemed like balhblah, 3 cards 0.06€ each, worthless.. but holy carp, I've got like 30€ from my cards (all cards, never sold any before) - it covered nearly all my spendings at the sale.

131 card drops remaining, and I haven't really done that many either.
I've stopped caring about Steam Cards as whole even to a point where I can't even be bothered to do by idling.

I refuse to idle games. I'm always amazed at the random games I begin to farm for cards and up spending many hours completing. Some of my favorites that I never expected are: Magical Diary, Sweezy Gunner, QuestRun, and To The Moon.

When the whole Steam Card program happened, I probably lost out on a lot of packs because I was slow in getting all my drops from various games. First I had to download the game, then play it (or as I found later, leave it on while I did something else) for however long it took all the free drops to happen, and then and only then could I get packs.
I had quite the backload mostly because when bundles first began, I tried getting all of them... until there just became way too many. As well, some games are so huge that you don't keep them on your computer at all times.
As I write this, I'm down to 2 left. Cook, Serve, Delicious!: I have 2 of the 4 drops left. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified: all 4 drops left.
How close are you to having all your drops?
