I tried real hard when trading cards first started (through the beta and later) but its gotten kinda out of hand lately, at least for someone with a large library like me. after almost 200 different games that I have collected all drops from, I am still under 1/3 and that % is getting smaller by the day.

I recently learned that the devs choose the time necessary to drop a card.
Detective Case and Clown Bot in: Murder in the Hotel Lisbon is set at 50 min for example.

You could have asked me this almost a year ago and I would have an answer other then zero.

I'm missing only one card drop for Eeets Munchies, but I really don't want to play that game lol

I'm not sure how people are getting exact numbers and estimated value, but if you go into Steam, mouse over your name on the menu bar, then select Badges, you'll see a list of games you have badges in, games where you have card drops remaining, and other games you've recently played that have cards.

Enhanced Steam does the estimated values and other assorted numbers.

after summer sale still have about 10-20 games not collected... RL gets in the way too much! XD
Though compared with 300+ already eligible for boosters...

I have no idea in how many games I have drops left (or how to check if there is an easy way to count them all) but they're quite a lot. :D
When I start a game I prefer to play it till I'm done with it (with a few exceptions), so card collecting is rather slow. Idling is just such a waste of potential play time- I tried it once... it was so pointless. :/

With Enhanced Steam it does the calculations for you.

When the whole Steam Card program happened, I probably lost out on a lot of packs because I was slow in getting all my drops from various games. First I had to download the game, then play it (or as I found later, leave it on while I did something else) for however long it took all the free drops to happen, and then and only then could I get packs.
I had quite the backload mostly because when bundles first began, I tried getting all of them... until there just became way too many. As well, some games are so huge that you don't keep them on your computer at all times.
As I write this, I'm down to 2 left. Cook, Serve, Delicious!: I have 2 of the 4 drops left. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified: all 4 drops left.
How close are you to having all your drops?
