Which game is better in your opinion? (Rage or Fallout 3?)

I've got $20 and I'm trying to decide what game I want. I think I've narrowed it down to either Rage or Fallout 3. (Although I'm still considering Bioshock...) Which game is better in your opinion?
I heard that Fallout 3 has issues on Windows 7 and I have Windows 8 so I'm assuming that I would have the same issues. Is there an easy way to fix these issues? Thanks!

You should keep in mind that the Rage Mod Kit just got released,wait a few weeks,then get rage with mods;get f3 now^^

I played Fallout 3 for a while but eventually got bored by it, it just didn't have the same ring as Elder Scrolls. Rage, I didn't like at all. Same locations that are used for multiple quests, generic quests and locations... But Fallout definitely better.

Although I agree that Fallout is the better one the combat in fallout is actually pretty lame imo. so as I said..someone wants a good fps experience he is better off with rage. Otherwise,if shooting isnt priority fallout 3 is better in every aspect
