Maybe you're right. That's why I added "hmm" because I don't remember
I only remember that it was a long time ago

I've been using a slightly cropped version of this image for a very long time. A view of the Yukon River, somewhere along Alaska's Dalton Highway.
Here's the full album as a bonus. It's not mine - all credit goes to the original poster, I just found it when it was uploaded all those years ago.

I'm using the default Windows 10 background right now, I've only been using this laptop for a few months and kept postponing choosing a new one, it's not like I see the background much.
BTW, is that image you're using from that post-apocalyptic comedy comic? I used to read that one years ago but I've forgotten how it's called.

I think it's cause you're looking directly at the sun in your background

I had to compress it a little to make it small enough to upload somewhere but here it is.
The Pillars of Creation is a favorite of mine, but I have had this version up for a very short time. I recently got two new monitors less than a month ago after using the same ones for several years (almost a decade in one case), and am very happy to have such an improved resolution and refresh rate. Its a similar feeling to getting new eyeglasses, lol.
This is my first time using an image that spans across both monitors as well and I find I really like the style. I found the original widescreen edit of the Hubble photo some time ago and did some extra tweaks to it. Ah, well... it really is an image that would work better in a vertical orientation but I love it anyway.

If you like Pillars of Creation, you can download updated photo made recently by Webb telescope, and flip it 90 degrees. So many more details. Full res is 150mb

So I see it's been almost two years since the last time we tried this. And last time it's been some fun.
So lets do this again.
Let's see what you are using for your pc background.
Just changed to this two days ago after using something else for a while.
