i forgot how long it would take using paypal.

usually paypal purchase 25$ to steam wallet. then used it for the winter sales :) i just used up my 25$ this month lol!

Also, using your Steam wallet for strictly Steam games means you avoid blacking out through a sale and waking up the next day to the revelation that you now have five hundred copies of the same game and no rent money.

Did the money get transferred? If so, there would be a receipt in PayPal which you can contact support with, if not, wait 24 hours and try to buy again? I never had any problems with Paypal purchases, and that's my preferred method of payment.

Paypal payments are not instant unless you either use a credit card or pay via a verified bank account with a credit card as a backup funding source. Probably the payment just hasn't gone through yet. May take a few days.

Weird, I always use paypal but I always instantly receive the confirmation, then receipt and followed by the game itself..

Most prob payment didnt go through, but they should notify you in that case. And maybe they did but you accidentally close that window before you could see it..

Paypal is slow as molasses in winter today. We paid for WoW from PP tonight and it took 20-30 min between payment and the account being active again.

did paypal use his CC or paypal direct funds in his account? if paypal used echeque / transfer from bank account it might take 3-5 days lol

Did he check his bank account if the money has been even withdrawn?

i purchased a four pack before and didn't receive the other three as gifts. They become available as steam gifts in my inventory a day after. Maybe wait for a bit and then see if you need to email steam support.
