1, 2 and 3 for me. I played 1 a long time ago and loved it, glad my buddy bought it for me as a birthday gift randomly.

Bought all 3 in May. It was a serious mistake, I've totally missed this summer. Currently playing The Heart of Stone. I'm not into RPGs at all, I rarely play anything apart from adventure games, but have to admit that this series is as amazing as they say.

I literally just now got the settings right to run the witcher 2 on my toaster. 600x480 resolution and settings so low I had to edit the entire .ini but I'm getting a steady 40 fps. I hope my expectations aren't too high for the witcher 3 when I get to play it one day.

Own 1 and 2(will probably buy 3 eventually), I hear 2 and 3 are a lot better than 1 but I always do series in order(I have 40 hours in DA2 just because I wanted to finish it before starting inquisition) and I'm struggling to finish 1 because it's really awful :(

Nah, every witcher game is different. 1 has a unique combat system, 2 is like a corridor rpg with an awesome combat system, and 3 is, well... A polished version of the previous games in an open world. I don't know why you find W1 awful, I love it.

Played and finished all 3 (finishing Blood and Wine expansion currently). Unlike many people I really did enjoy Witcher 1, despite it being very diferent, especially gameplay-wise from other two. Losngest spent on Witcher 3 ofc, because it has most content, but tbh I think that my favoritue gotta be Witcher 2. I don't mind Open World RPGs and play a lot of them, but you experience storyline much more if it's more focused aka presented in more focused way, not doing a main quest every 10 hours, because there's too much stuff distracting you. And man did Witcher 2 had a great storyline (at least during first 2 acts ;p)

I've played the first 2 games, but I never finished the second game. I hate the combat system and the controls. You need 3 arms to be able to play it properly with mouse and keyboard. I also experienced a few crashes and I had to go delete many of the autosaves.

I've played Witcher 1 and 2 and have been waiting patiently for a price drop on Witcher 3. And good thing too since the GOTY edition will be released soon!

Finished Witcher 1 and loved it. Finished Witcher 2 and while doing this almost ragequited 2-3 times because was so boring after Act 1. Completed Witcher 3 2 times to see why people say that is a great RPG when in fact the game feels more like interactive movie...
