Hey guys, I'm kinda torn on this one. As most of you probably know, the DayZ standalone is currently in Alpha and expensive as hell. Still, eventually it's going to render the mod redundant, so it's lifetime might run out sooner than later.

So anyhow, do you reckon it'd be worth it to throw $6 to the people at Humble for this one?

Up to you.. you get a couple games for that bundle that are worth playing by themselves. :-)

I guess it mostly comes down to server availability, just having a hard time finding concrete results about that on the internets.

The bundled games are worth $6, even if there were no such thing as "DayZ mod".

It's worth getting Arma II for Arma II

I went ahead and got the BT6 here. I haven't tried DayZ yet, but ARMA II does seem decent. It's kind of clunky in some ways, but it does capture a certain realistic feeling that I've never felt in a game before either. Personally I'd say you should.

Arma 2 is worth playing, DayZ mod is free so what's the problem? If you want it only for DayZ mod then don't buy it, just a waste of money.

Well thanks guys, your advice is appreciated. I've had a quick look at some of the other games, most of them I've never heard of before. I'll just trust the community's judgement on this one.
