I use a number of digital distribution platforms that are not Steam, and have not issue with them. I don't see Steam is the beginning and end of PC gaming.
However, the fact that Origin eagerly rifles through users private files, in addition to a few "interesting" lines in EA's EULA, make me very wary of it.
Each to their own. If you're enjoying it, great! Good on you. Many are, and perhaps I'm just a shade too paranoid for my own good...

I have nothing against origin, the interface is a bit counter intuative coming from steam, but I really like the downloading method, I have found it alot smoother and reliable than Steam.
But I am thankful that it will be impossible for them to add multiplayer to the game, becuase it doesnt need it and it if it is added it would stand out like a sore thumb and turn everyone away.

I am the only one who liked ME3's MP mode and doesn't mind Origin?
Also, will get DA3, when it drops to ~$30.

I don't give a damn. Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Shadowrun Returns, Wasteland 2, Project Eternity, Age of Decadence, Dead State, Conquistador and many other rpgs are coming out next year and 2014. Bioware can't write a decent story anymore or create good characters.

Not defending EA/Bioware, but omfg. How was Mass Effect 3 screwed up with MP that didn't even affected story? And was just a nice addition, and even one of the few positive things about the fact that I bought it (they even made FREE dlc for it, and man free stuff from EA these days is rare). Mass Effect 3 was screwed up by lies, bullcrap PR and story that pays little attention to what player did in last 2 games, plus of course that pathetic excuse of an ending.

PC users are annoyed because they have to wait through a long delay because of consoles.
Console users are annoyed because they have to buy a new console just so they can play the 3rd game (unlike Mass Effect).
This just adds on to the pile of disappointment that Bioware has been heaping on their fans over the past couple years.

Bioware announced Dragon Age III today.not much info had been released but im pretty excited .i just hope EA doesnt screw this up with Multiplayer and online store like in mass effect 3. Dragon age is best left as a single player rpg.
Edit- They are using BF3's Frostbite 2 Engine for this game.
