I don't follow your first sentence but yes - group giveaways count towards your CV.
Having said that, if you're thinking of executing some sort of elaborate plan to game the system, just don't.
Seems like you might benefit from a read of the FAQ. It could save you a world of grief further down the line :)

When it is a draw the game value is added to the database so that when others ask sweepstakes, you have donated certain value. My question is this, if I make $100 in giveaways for "steam group," I can get into normal sweepstakes worth $100?
