Not sure, what your gaming taste is like, but the PS3 has such an amazing amount of exclusive titles, that you should really consider getting it (especially if you can get it for cheap enough).

Oh I really want a PS3 for the exclusive, especially the MGS collection, demon souls etc.
But I think Beyond Two Souls is out for PS4, I wish I could find a physical copy though

A large number of those have received remastered versions on the PS4. I still have my PS3 since they most certainly are not all there, but a lot of better known titles have been revamped for the PS4. There is of course also PSNow that hosts a lot of PS3 games, but of course that is an additional monthly expense.

Well, I tend to fangirl over Metal Gear a bit and by that I mean a lot so for that single reason I'd never give up on my dear PS3.

The PS4 version lets you play the story in chronological order if you want, instead of jumping around jodie's life like before.

Can't wait for Tuesday. I finally started my uncharted remastered collection. I played through them all on PS3 a few times. I'm playing on crushing difficulty so I can unlock brutal and try that. Not sure if I'll be able to beat it though on brutal. Crushing gives me enough moments of madness. On PS3 I did beat the first 2 games on crushing but third I never did.

there are a lot of ps4 only games you should play
like uncharted, the old metal gears, and of course dead or alive xtreme 3 ^^

Mine arrived two days late (yesterday), but I've been loving it so far. I've had little time so I'm only on Chapter 4, but I am really impressed. I just wrapped up my replay of the originals in the remastered edition on Monday or Tuesday... thought about going through them and trophy hunting before I even started 4... but I couldn't resist.

I own the unpopular choice: a Wii U.
I'm very happy with it though, I feel it offers the most contrast with respect to other consoles.

There is a new game called Nioh which is like Dark souls but with a more intricate combat system
And offcourse there will be a new Suda51 game, exclusive to ps4

Nioh looks very promising indeed. Apart from the Dark Souls influece, you can clearly feel that it's a game from the creators of Ninja Gaiden.
You are talking about Let it Die, right? I usually stay away from f2p titles, but this one might turn out rather well.

well a playstation costs around 300 Euro (i think, ... dunno), my PC costs 2500 Euro (well i safed lot of money because i build him on my own). The good thing on a pc is: you can do very much on ur own (for example repair something). Good is also that almost every game look better on pc (the content is important).

Congrats and enjoy! I've never owned a playstation sadly, most of my consoles are Nintendo (have an xbox 360 as well but don't play often). Still play my N64 and gamecube fairly often though. :)

Sadly never owned a Nintendo console, but I just can't stop starring at Gamecubes. If there was ever a console, that you could call adorable, it's the Gamecube. :3

Well, yes And no
The old console will have to be capable of running all games, otherwise it would mean the consoles death. Also Devs will want to keep things simple And work with one build in mind. Só for the next few years games will be playable
On the other hand, 60fps 4K should be the standard of the new gen
And if past mistakes are bound to be repeated , the same might happen with PS4
Near the end of its life the ps3 was running games at 15fps And missing content

I'd like to play in like few games from PS3 / PS4: The Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Heavy rain etc and I don't think it's wise for me to throw 300€ just to be able to do so xD I play every multiplatfomr on my PC.
But congrats on your new toy :D Hope it will work perfectly fine ^_^

Well, time will tell, but I think it was a quite reasonable purchase? ~300€ for 500GB + Dying Light and The Witcher 3 ^^

15 carts (two 2x), level 3+ on everything, 100% bundled stuff (sorry, I'm now way too broke for some nice and shiny unbundled games ;-;), no SGT and maybe no blacklist drama? pretty please ;_;
If you'd like to recommend me some currently available titles (exclusives and also games, that a potato laptop really can't to handle), then I'm all ears! :) I'll be definitely getting Bloodborne btw. :p
Oh, and I still love my PS3, but progress had to be made. :p
