if you see a train before you, something has gone very wrong

• It would certainly be smoking if it had a steam locomotive.

• Definitely slow. Some people live busy lives and can't afford to check SG every hour incase they miss something.

• Level 2+ minimum. Everyone can get to level one very easily by just giving away one cheap game from a bundle. Level 2 requires a bit more effort, but at that point they should understand how the site works. Not sure if a bare-minimum SGTools would make that big of a difference, so I wouldn't bother unless the train is intentionally for people who give away a lot of games.

Every carriage should be bad rats

Trains are best not too short and not too long, so that the ride is neither tiring nor over before it has begun. A medium length is most satisfying for most, 3 -4 days, so the wait for arrivin at the destination is not too long. A list is not required, as it spoils the fun for the people who love riding trains, exceptions are if the train is reeeaaally long, several entrances for several levels could be a solution in this case.
Which leads me to your next question - most of the times a smooth mixture of all levels is the way to go for most. This way there's a little something for everybody in the train. For new users, for poor people, for those that don't like to give so much and for those that do, and also for people who are around for a while.
Trains are an individual matter. You can decorate them with whatever you like, smoke if you want to and forbid it if you hate it, throw out things you always wanted to share with other people because they are so amazing, or even set it on fire. Best aspect of a train imo :)

Concerning trains it's not easy to choose for another as in the end it's up to the individual giveaway creator to make a train how he or her wants.

Shinkansen speed - L2+ mid size - whatever you want to giveaway is fine :)

Short/ Medium length. I'd rate the quality of the experience higher than its length. Always. But if you can afford to combine both ... ;)
2-4 days are best, depending on the train ofc.
Trains are for those loving trains. So no lists.
Level 2-5
No smoking. And children always come first!

• Short or medium, my finger still hurts after clicking through the long (100+) ones!
• Slow trains are the best since more people get to enjoy the trip.
• No shortcuts, the surprise of every cart is the enjoyment. It wouldn't be funny to give shortcut the last cart of Bad Rats. Also bump link can surprise sometimes, at least I have heard some rumors of that happening sometimes...
• Multiple platforms could be a thing, just remember to tell the passengers of this.
• Train can make some smoke if it suits the occasion.
  Underwater train could be a thing. Just remember to include lifejackets and swimsuits if they are needed.
