There's no hardfast rule on that. It usually depends on HOW MANY free keys are given. Since this was 10K keys, then yes, it should be removed from the giveaway list.

To quote my original post, "In reality, you shouldn't create anything since it'll most likely be removed within a few hours"

If a steamgifts mod sees this, please add the following rule to the list concerning free keys:
Keys obtained from free giveaways (promotions, etc.) may only be listed as giveaways when the keys are no longer available from the source.
Rewrite this to make it sound more professional and please don't ban me when I put the code up after the deal is over.

Isn't it kinder, especially in a giveaway like this, where there are a limited number of keys, just to take one for yourself, so that other people get a chance at grabbing one before they run out?

This tactic doesn't strike me as much better than the CV farmers who, after all, are fairly limited in the amount of contributor value they can farm from exploited keys...
