Indie Game Maker Contest 2017

Hi,

I'm big fan of SNES age RPGs, played pretty much most of them for the SNES, even a few that were only romhack translated and never were officially released in english. Love Chrono Trigger and those Final Fantasy titles.

I saw the RPGMaker Humble Bundle that was around last month and had a flashback of all the times i wanted to make an oldschool 2D RPG myself but never actually got around to it, despite spending times writing plot scripts, inventing characters, maps, getting people to contribute and what not. But money and life always got in the way and never did an RPG myself.

Now i had a little more free time on my hands, and it turns out there was a game jam going on for the event, make a game in 1 month using one of the RPGMakers, the IGMC2017 that was mentioned in the topic.

So i got myself the 1 dollar tier, and took a look at what RPGMaker VX Ace could do, came up with a simple concept, and went at it!

The deadline for entries is ending today, at the moment that i'm writing this it got 145 entries. Including my own, Joseph of Descentia

Didn't see any mention about IGMC or rpgmaker on the forums here, so i wondered if steamgifts people care about it at all? Either IGMC itself or RPGMaker games? I know most of them get a bad rep for being amateur but which ones did you check? :)

Also if anyone would like to check out my game and give me some feedback (positive or negative), that would be awesome :)
