Well, yeah feeling of winning something is good, but after 540 entries it would be better if I won a game which is not f2p already. I actually entered this giveaway with thinking it is the giveaway of original MNC. Real cause of my whining is that.

Well, this is about on par. Most drawings have several hundred people, so your chance of winning something in a drawing on SteamGifts is, roughly, one in several hundred. If you're after popular titles, make that one in many hundred, maybe even a thousand. So expect one win every few hundred entries you make.
