Humble Monthly Question

I was trying to buy the monthly subscription on humble bundle but when I get to the check out part, and after logging in on paypal, it asks me to introduce some credit card info. My funds on paypal come from OPskins and I've never had, and never will, a linked credit card to my paypal account. Is it really necessary or am I getting some sort of a bug? Does anyone know if I can bypass it or am I doomed and wont be able to get the monthly?

It is required to have a verified Paypal before you can subscribe. And no, you can't bypass it.

I had to add one to my PayPal to use it with Steam. I believe it is necessary to use it for certain sites, yes. That way if it fails to get enough funding from your balance, it can take it from your credit card, too.
