Is there any game like this?

In those days there is this type of game in my mind but i cant think of any game of this type.
I'm looking for a game in which you just watch factions fight and you can send a little help but not much , you just watch.
This type of game exist or there aren't any yet?

Sounds like battles from old games like Castles 2 where you each field armies and don't directly control them, but issue a basic standing order of how to attack (direct frontal, flank, defensive, etc.)

Its usually scifi games. X² or X³ (x series), drox operative... you play as a little ship and see factions battle out on space and decide which you will help.

stalker has some mod that makes this (faction wars enhanced or something)
