Parhaps 35MM? http://store.steampowered.com/app/466500/ grey and post-apocalyptic. And the developer name looks Russian.

I googled for grey first person exploration on steam and then went through similar games that looked grey to me^^

Nothing like that, I'm afraid =)
They both started the development at approximately the same time, but only Homesick made it through - Sergey froze his project and moved on to 35mm (there is still a greenlight page for The Light).
I actually was a Kickstarter backer for Homesick, and in the end I wasn't satisfied much by the result - the game was slow and too short to be memorable, even though it looked nice =<

I was a KS backer too! I enjoyed the game, though. I don't mind slow and short. :-P

This game has been in the back of my wishlist for awhile now. I love how it looks and the story sounds amazing. Would it be worth $15?

Aw, wish I'd seen this earlier (but it was 5:30 AM when the mystery was solved). I was a Kickstarter backer of Homesick. A really nice two-person dev studio. I enjoyed the game, too. :)

You had me at "post-apocalyptic world" <3
^_^

It looks like I'm too late to help as well, but it's good to see you around, Yeliena. It's been a while. :)
(I wasn't familiar with Homesick, so I wouldn't have been much help anyway, but that game's on my radar now. Thanks for that!)

I've been lurking less and less lately, myself. D:

I don't mind plot-based walking simulators, and I see that a lot of reviewers on Steam compare this to The Vanishing of Ethan Carter which I played a few months ago and really enjoyed, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for it on the cheap. :)
