recently i "won" kinetic void (666 entries very funny) but the giveaway was removed some hours after it closed, made me sad i thought you cannot remove ga's when they are finished, must have been done by steamgifts support...but now you can no longer see anything about this

I've won this one and it has turned out that is a joke. Guy has sent me a duplicated key to Dead Island GOTY and tried to force me to press YES (contributor +50$). He thought that I will press it... Fool. Giveaway reported and now I'm waiting 5 more days to press NO :D

I had the pleasure of a fake giveaway for Dungeons (Steam Edition).

That said, I've won so many other awesome games it would be pretty churlish to cry too much over the one that got away...

I won a giveaway for Saints Row 3 (a game I really wanted for the longest time) a long time back.
I am usually always cautious about fake giveaways and check the profile of the giveaway creator before entering anything suspicious ("This cg guy looks suspicious private profile and 0 wins! FAEK!!?) This guy actually had a few giveaways marked received or so I thought but alas a week of patient waiting later his percentage turned from 100% to 0% =(

Sent out a few more (at 15 now). There's still some before this post that I havn't gotten to. I just ran out of time before I had to leave for clinics. I'll check some more when I get back later tonight.

Here is the problem with your logic..once you mark as not received on your profile the giveaway doesn't appear their anymore..as i won A trine giveaway that was later removed (although i did get to activate it) because it was a hacked key. they took it off their so the guy giving it away didn't get contributor for it..and i also won an assassins creed revalations giveaway (3 copy giveaway) and never received the key at all..but once i marked as not received it was gone from my account.

Nice group :D I think I "fit" to those rules. My first win turned out a fake.(Do you imagine HOW sad I was?!) Would like to join. I know, bundle giveaways, but I have few "normal". And in sum it > $30.01

I'm lucky enough to have avoided that sort of thing. In the rare occasion that something was wrong with a giveaway, the creator worked with me to resolve it. Hats off to the decent guys, and good luck in the future to everyone that fulfills the requirements to enter this group.
