Would you buy the game?
Thanks for mentioning the game, it looks like something I would really enjoy - wishlisted for now :) But however good it may look, 15€ is a lot for me on one game with my backlog, so I'll wait for a (much) better deal (If only I'd be a millionaire or something. It feels so bad that I'd like to give the money to the developer because the game looks really intresting for me, but I can't afford it to do so :( or really, really rarely.)

Wow so many people voted that they aren't interested in this game. I wish some of them would say in the comments why they are not interested. Perhaps it's just not their cup of tea or maybe they actually dislike the game for some specific reasons, either way I must say I am surprised that the majority of people actually voted "No".

Man, this game is hard. Some things are not very well explained and can end up being very consequential. I'm not a fan of the dice fights and I've also never been able to do any damage to an enemy... The game really piqued my interest before but now that I've tried it, I've lost some interest. A difficulty option might keep me interested but it's not worth $12-15. I'll probably wait for it to be bundled.
EDIT: The dice fights is a perfect example of poor explanations and consequential results. I just read in a Steam review that the dice don't just apply their individual stats. They have to be combined in specific ways and only then will they have an affect. That's not in the tutorial.

The dice fights surprised me honestly, because while I knew that there are turn based fights in some games, I've honestly never played any game with such kind of combat before that would involve rolling a dice so it was all new to me, but then again since it was new to me, I've tried my best to learn how it works on-the-go so to speak and when I saw the game informed me that shaking dices indicate possibility of being used in a combo, I've tried to combine random dices in random order and some of the combinations worked in a way they showed amount of damage caused by applying that combination against the enemy. So I ended up being able to deal some damage after all, but I can agree that the amount of damage dealt did not correspond with the amount of lives (hearts) of the enemy, that was the confusing part for me because when I made a combo that deals for example 5 points of damage, it didn't take 5 hearts of life of the enemy, so then I must ask how am I supposed to know how many hearts of life my attacks are going to take from the enemy? Yes the tutorial was showing only the basics and combat wasn't explained at all, but then again I take it the way it's still Alpha version so perhaps it will improve in the future, I honestly hope so because I am still interested in this kind of exploration game.

Hello everyone!
I was reading an email with news from Humble Bundle store and I've noticed there was an image of a game called The Curious Expedition available on Steam, it's a game I have wishlisted because I thought it could be an interesting little game. There was a note informing that you can try the game for free during this weekend. There is no way to play for free on Steam, but if you go to the home page of the game here you will be able to play the game directly in your web browser.
It seems like this is not the first time they made this game available free for weekend, so what do you guys think about the game? Do you like it?
