Seems correct. I'm a wee little bit annoyed that they remove games making it cumbersome to acquire them if we're not keeping on our toes.
Still missing some of the earlier ones when I for some reason didn't think they would remove them.

Did anyone else get a Humble Trove survey last month?
A lot of questions about whether I ever used it and what would make me use it more or less so I wonder if they are thinking of getting rid of it or changing the way it is.

I did but i have yet reply to it. Didnt have the attention to do it, should I? I do download the games from Trove but not often. I enjoyed Torchlight, Volantia, etc. Tbh, i will not be surprised they will end it with the games they put out recently or turn it into indie demos. :/

I honestly couldn't tell you what they're hoping to get from the survey. It seems to me that they're trying to justify a decision they have already made to cut it or replace it but maybe they're trying to figure out what to replace it with.

Yeah I think it's going to end up being just a library of Humble Originals, some of which are really not much more than concept demos but hey let's see what happens. IGN can always find room at the bottom lol

Something like an easy to use bulk downloader for archiving would be kind of nice I guess. I've only been able to get a CLI-client to work and even I am reluctant to use CLI just because I have to remember, or look up the actual commands to use them. Most people won't bother doing that

They were added October 2018 - so they stayed for 2 years. Perhaps this is a general pattern? (Humble Originals may have another pattern).

Clearly Humble is making up for this by letting Humble Choice subscribers receive more than 10 games for multiple months, and Humble wouldn't continue that if subscribers weren't happy with this decision over growing the Trove /s

I just want to say, I enjoyed Tokyo 42. Online multiplayer was already dead when I played it, but I liked the campaign, the aesthetic and the mechanics, even if these last ones can have their flaws...
And people say A Short Hike is nice as well, but you probably got that last one for free at Epic Store some time ago...

As mentioned, only the Humble Original has been added. No games was removed, which had not happened for a long time.
It is safe to say that Trove is now abandoned and won't get any new games. Like Humble Choice, where you don't have to choose anymore, I won't be surprised to see a complete overhaul of the Humble "Premium" offer in the coming months.

Yeah, have been thinking the same thing about them changing the Choice model...
They probably realized people don't want to pay that much for Premium tier, but they can't outright go back to "Classic" or similar as that would show they failed, which I doubt they want to happen for their public image. I'd guess they will run this "both classic and premium get everything" for several months and when it's run its course they'll introduce something different. Probably PR is already working on how to promote that without having bad publicity.
Alternatively they could be slowly changing it and making users get used to some new business model. As they already changed the day from friday to tuesday.. But all the same - I'd agree change is coming.

Looks like Trine Enchanted Edition may have also been removed. Appears to be only 87 games in trove as of today, so I'm guessing there were 2 removed and I couldn't see Trine (it was there in late Feb).

Yes, it seems to also have been removed. I checked my records from March 9th and here it still was included. And I do remember there being 88 titles.
However their "90+ TITLES IN THE TROVE LIBRARY" statement seems a little misleading by now.

Since June 2017, each Humble Choice / Monthly subscriber has access to the Humble Trove. It includes a variety of DRM-free games (no Steam). You can download any game as long as your subscription is active. New games are added every second Friday of the month.
