When is pre-ordered games available for Pre-load

Hello everybody i would like to ask you, when (on steam of course) is pre-ordered games are available for pre-load? My main question is how many days before release? Because right now the most anticipated game for me is GTA V and i have entered a couple of giveaways for it, and i'm curious with those delay when will be available for pre-load?

So basically i'm asking at what point in time pre-ordered games on steam are available for pre-load, no matter on the release date?

Depends on the game.
Most are a few days before release available but some dont have a preload.
Better ask in the steamforums of the game in question to see if someone knows.

Here u go as I was curious as well:
"It's announced, the game's going to be available for download as of the 24th of this month."

EDIT 2: No official annoucenment on that. My best guess is 3 days prior to the release, maybe a bit earlier.
